When can you safely puncture?
Cuts, breaks and abrasions to the tire casing can penetrate deep into the tissue inside the tire and can be extremely dangerous - likely to cause high-speed blowouts.

The penetration of the tread by a nail or piece of glass or metal can often be safely repaired.
Puncture repairs must be made in accordance with regulations bsaui 59. Only a special vulcanised plug patch must be used to repair the tire to the required standard.
Never let someone else try to fix your tire at a lower level - it could prove fatal in case of default compensation from any speed.
The main points of regulation bsaui are:
Tires can not be repaired in the area marked "T".
There is no limit to the amount of compensation that can be done as long as the puncture repair parts do not overlap
Note: Do not install an inner tube with a tubeless tire, except on a wheel-type pipe.
