Bed early adolescent depression can be prevented
A recent U.S. study found that for young people, the bed early can reduce the risk of suffering from depression, and prevent young people have the idea of suicide.
Researchers at Columbia University in the United States on the 9th Joint annual meeting of professional sleep associations reported that they had more than 15,000 young people on the sleep status and tracking day-to-day conduct of the investigation. The analysis found that even with those late night sleep compared to peers, a day before 22 o'clock the young people go to bed suffering from depression, 25 percent lower risk, resulting in the possibility of suicide should be a low 20%.
The researchers explained that, under the supervision of their parents or their own youth bed early, sleep time, contribute to physical and mental health, and those young people go to bed late because of lack of sleep than other people become restless, impulsive .
A lot of medical research also found that lack of sleep also affects young people's attention and learning ability, and will make them suffer from obesity and diabetes also increase the risk. The researchers recommended the majority of parents, children should ensure that every day there are at least 8-9 hours of sleep.
